Coffee Break - Large Language Models in Core Facilities

This Coffee Break is open to all MaxBI members. We host a discussion about the integration of Large Language Models in a Research Core Facility. What are current challenges and potential future applications of Large Language Models? How can they be integrated into daily workflows?

Format:

Introduction: We will have 2 speakers/moderators who will introduce the problem and/or their solution (either by talking or using slides, up to the moderators). Each speaker will have a maximum of 5 minutes.

Discussion Round: After the problem is presented, we’ll have a discussion where everyone has the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas, or solutions. Each person will have 2-3 minutes.

Open Discussion: If needed, we’ll have another round of open discussion where everyone can further share their opinions, solutions, or ideas.

Summary: At the end, we’ll prepare a short summary of the discussion for documentation and for us to remember key points.
