MaxBi Tutorials - High-throughput STED with adaptive feedback microscopy

In an adaptive feedback microscopy workflow, image analysis and image acquisition are intertwined. In this tutorial, we will first review some basic concepts and solutions provided by microscopy companies. We will then show, on a STEDYcon-Abberior/Nikon system, a workflow that uses fast and gentle wide-field imaging to recognize cells for super-resolution microscopy. By combining image analysis and different acquisition methods we can circumvent some of the inherent limitations of STED, i.e. speed and phototoxicity, and acquire data at high-throughput in a completely unsupervised way. MaxBi Tutorials - Spectral unmixing in microscopy using online-fingerprinting

This is an online tutorial for the spectral separation of multiple fluorescences in confocal microscopy using the online-fingerprinting method at a Zeiss LSM780/880/980 confocal microscope. It will be shown how to prepare the spectra, how to setup the acquisition, as well as an example for a good sample and for a problematic one. After an explanation of a few pitfalls and possible artifacts we will end with a discussion round. Please follow the link in the details to register at the Max Planck Academy. [more]
