MaxBi Tutorials - High-throughput STED with adaptive feedback microscopy

In an adaptive feedback microscopy workflow, image analysis and image acquisition are intertwined. In this tutorial, we will first review some basic concepts and solutions provided by microscopy companies. We will then show, on a STEDYcon-Abberior/Nikon system, a workflow that uses fast and gentle wide-field imaging to recognize cells for super-resolution microscopy. By combining image analysis and different acquisition methods we can circumvent some of the inherent limitations of STED, i.e. speed and phototoxicity, and acquire data at high-throughput in a completely unsupervised way.
